That will warn you when you have reached the point that you'll have sunburn.
The bracelet takes into account your skin type and how much sun you're taking in to monitor your UV activity.

It displays 11 lights on the watch that correspond with your UV activity which you can check by pushing the "Check UV" button...
If it lights up to 11, you're reaching sunburn and should find shade.
