Lots of moisturizing products contain active ingredients, including oils. Therefore, you should consider using products that are water-based instead - water-based moisturizers, makeup, and more. If your skin is naturally oily, the last thing you want is oil-based products used on it!

We all wash our faces, right? Well, if you're looking to minimize your pores, you'll want to make sure you're washing your face both in the morning and at night. Use lukewarm water and a gentle, gel-based cleanser before patting your face dry with a towel.

You'll want to make sure you're washing your face with a cleanser that is non-abrasive and doesn't contain alcohol - like this one! It's proven to increase skin's hydration and lock it in, leaving skin feeling refreshingly clean and supple.

You should also make sure you're exfoliating once or twice a week to remove matter that can clog up your pores, like dead skin and excess oil.

You can also apply a clay mask.

This Aztec Secret clay mask can be used to a deep pore cleansing for your face, hair, and body. Use it once or twice a week to remove oil from your skin and prevent your pores from becoming enlarged.

Always remove your makeup at night.

Sometimes it's tempting to go to bed without removing your makeup when you're super tired, but this is a mistake! Sleeping in your makeup can cause your pores to become blocked up, which in turn enlarges them.
