Grab a roll of wired ribbon.
Wired ribbon works best for this project, since it’s easier to work with, and you can always reshape it if the bow gets a little bent.
Hot glue comes in handy.
You can hot glue the ribbon so that it stays folded; this piece will be used for tying the bow’s middle knot.
Now grab another longer length of ribbon.
Decide how big you want your bow to be, and make a loop with the ribbon, leaving extra ribbon for the tail of the bow.
A sharp pair of scissors is key.
You’ll want your scissors to be adept at cutting fabric and thin wire, like these premium titanium-coated scissors from Amazon!
Make another loop.
This loop should be made opposite the first; hold them both tightly where they meet in the middle, and make sure they’re the same size.
Make loop number three.
This loop should be on the same side as the first loop; the middle of the bow should still be scrunched up and held tightly.
Loop number four!
Make your fourth loop on the same side as the second. Make sure they’re all the same size, because this is your last chance to adjust!
Grab your folded piece of ribbon.
Remember that 8-inch piece of ribbon? Use it to tie the middle of your bow, and do it tightly!
Finally, take some floral wire.
You can attach this to the back of your bow optionally if you want to hang it from a door, wreath, tree, or something else!
