First, you’ll need bucket.
Fill the bucket with warm water, and get your cleaning tools ready for use.
Grab your vacuum.
Vacuum the area that you’re planning to clean, so that all easily removable dirt and dust is out of the way!
Now to clean, you could use baking soda.
If you’re planning to use baking soda for your deep clean, sprinkle it on the carpet’s stains until they’re completely covered.
You could also use dish soap.
If you’re using dish soap, then use about a tablespoon of the soap per 6 inches of stain, and spread it around until you see bubbles.
Grab a cleaning brush.
Gently scrub the stains you’re cleaning out with warm water and the brush.
A rag or towel works just as well.
If you don’t have a brush, or would rather use a towel to do your scrubbing, you can always do that! Here’s a great towel set from Amazon Basics.
Don’t overdo it with the water!
You don’t need to totally soak the carpet to clean in; just get it wet enough to get rid of the stains.
Watch as the stains disappear.
Once you’ve cleaned up all the stains on your floor, it’s time to help your carpets dry out.
Turn on fans and open windows.
Want the carpet to dry quickly? Open windows in the room or turn on a fan in order to speed up the process and facilitate air drying.
One more thing to do!
Once the carpet is dry, vacuum it again for good measure. Once that’s done, you’ve got a successfully deep-cleaned carpet. How easy was that?!
