But what if we told you that you don't have to worry about that anymore? What if we told you that Amazon fly fans are a thing? Well, they really are! A TikTok user recently posted a video of dining set up outdoors with 3 groovy fly fans making sure no bugs will ruin their dining experience!
"He's laughing but he's going to eat some fly-free food outside," one TikTok user said underneath the video. But how does it actually work? Well, the holographic dots on the blades refract or bend the light, which in the mind of a fly, isn't natural to them, and so they don't dare to come any closer!
"Very effective at keeping the flies at bay. No, it's not perfect, and once in a while a brave fly will be undeterred, but it makes a huge difference. The vast majority of the time all the flies stay away. Loved it so much I ordered another set!" one person wrote on Amazon. While another person wrote: "I was at an outside restaurant and the flies were so bad that I had to cover my food. When eating outside a few flies will line up about five feet from the device then fly away. The fly fan really works well and are totally quiet."
People still think it works great! "I like the idea of these for keeping flies off of food during picnics. The fly repellent fan also looks nicer in the picture than in person. This product really does work if you keep the fan very close to whatever is attracting the flies such as food," another reviewer noted.
