31 Things I Don't Own But REALLY Want on Amazon

I probably spend more time browsing Amazon than you do. After all, I do it as part of my job and I have a major shopping problem. Despite what our UPS man might think, I don't buy everything I see. I have wish lists and things I admire from afar and things I'm dying to try but am also a little afraid of. Here I am sharing an assortment of things I currently have my eye on that will hopefully grace my doorstep in a brown cardboard box one of these days.

We hope you find these handy products as awesome as we do. Just an FYI: 22Words is a participant in the Amazon affiliate program, and may receive a share of sales from links on this page.

I'm Waiting For My Current Electric Kettle to Die So I Can Get This Stainless Steel Electric Kettle

via: Amazon

I've had a few electric kettles over the years and the worst part about them is that they tend to last forever. Which means I'm stuck with my perfectly good, but non-gorgeous, plain white plastic kettle for the foreseeable future. But as soon as it bites the dust, or I justify getting a new one, I'm upgrading to this stunning Stainless Steel Electric Kettle.

Life Looks Pretty Perfect in This Hammock Chair

via: Amazon

Maybe it's good that I don't own this Hammock Chair, because if I did I'd have a hard time ever not being in it. In my dream life, I'm the kind of woman who has this hammock chair and the luxury of time to use it.

I'm Morbidly Curious About the Wildly Popular Baby Foot Foot Mask Thing

When it comes to Baby Foot I'm equal parts scared, grossed out, and dying to try it. I'd need a week alone on a deserted island though because there's no way I'm dealing with all the skin on my feet peeling off for days in front of other people.

I'd Like One of These Light up Stick Figure Costume Kits For Everyone in my Family

via: Amazon

I love Halloween and am fully on board with dressing up along with my kids, but only if the costume is clever and seasonally appropriate - no thank you freezing-cold-anti-feminist-slutty-anything costumes! How cute is this light up costume kit? I love the idea of stick figures running around in the dark!

This Giant Wooden 4 in a Row Game Looks Like So Much Fun

via: Amazon

I can't really explain why I want this 4-foot wide Giant 4 in a Row Game so much, but I do. I love it's ridiculous over-sizedness. At $165, I can't justify buying it for myself, but it would make a terrific gift for anyone you buy sort of pricey gifts for, (or for me). It also comes in in a 2 foot and 3 foot version for $65 and $89 respectively.

With a Head Full of Curly Hair, I've Long Coveted a Silk Pillowcase

via: Amazon

Apparently, this 100% Mulberry Silk Pillowcase would make my morning hair perfect and even my skin clearer. It seems like such an indulgence to buy for myself, but I have my eye on it and one of these days I'll decide I deserve the treat. Or maybe someone will see this and buy it for me. If you know a curly haired gal, this would make a great gift!

I'm Pretty Sure There are Two Kinds of People in This World: Those Who Have an Instant Pot, and Those Who Want One

via: Amazon

I'm sadly in the latter category. I have no idea how to use the thing, but I've heard magical tales about the Instant Pot and how it will make all my weeknight dinners for me in no time and no effort.

I Love How Globe String Lights Bring Outdoor Spaces to Life at Night

via: Amazon

One day, I'll have an HGTV-worthy outdoor living space. There will be no mosquitoes or spider webs and there will be plenty of Globe String Lights.

These Compression Leggings Have Been Sitting in my "Saved For Later" List For Awhile Now

via: Amazon

One cannot have too many leggings, and Compression Leggings are the most comfortable and flattering, IMHO. My leggings are all black, but I'd like to be the kind of person who wears cute colors and patterns, and this seems like a good entry-level pattern for me.

If Left to my Own Devices, I'd Have This Banned Book Coffee Mug and So Many Others That My Cupboards Would Burst

via: Amazon

There's something about a great mug. It's the shape, how it feels in your hand when it's full of the good stuff, and, of course, the design. As a bonafide nerd, coffee fiend, and bibliophile, (and the type of person who says things like "bibliophile,") this Banned Book Coffee Mug has my name all over it.

Inverted Umbrellas Made Me Realize How Poorly Designed a Standard Umbrella is

via: Amazon

I don't usually use an umbrella because they are more trouble than they're worth. Sure, you stay dry while you're out in the rain, but then you are stuck with this soaking wet nightmare that you have to carry around with you, or bring into your car with you. And there is literally no way to get into your car and close your umbrella without becoming more drenched than you would have been in just a raincoat in the first place. So, when I see these Inverted Umbrellas I am overcome with the I WANTS.

I Firmly Believe That This Set of 6 Packing Cubes is the Key to Looking Like an Adult When Traveling

I'm a Sucker for As Seen On TV Products and These Wonder Hangers are No Exception

I'm actually not sure if I have seen these Wonder Hangers on TV, but they seem infomercial-esque. Look how much room they save! I want to have that moment of satisfaction when taking the second hook off the bar and all my clothes collapse to a neat, tiny parcel.

Magnetic Eyelashes are Another Thing I'm Both Curious About and a Little Afraid of

via: Amazon

I don't generally wear a ton of makeup, so it might be weird for me to don extravagant eyelashes all the time, but these Magnetic Eyelashes are so tempting. Traditional false lashes require a level of dexterity that is way beyond me, but I can do magnets. The fact that they advertise these on someone with fair features like mine helps too. Oooh, I want them so bad!

I Spend A Lot of Time at my Kids' Sporting Events and I Envy The Parents Who Sit Comfortably in the Bleachers on Seats Like These Grandstand Comfort Seats

via: Amazon

I never remember how terribly uncomfortable the bleachers are until I'm back on them. Even though I eye other parents' Bleacher Seats during the unending hours of meets and games, as soon as it's over I forget. If my kids knew anything, this is what they'd get me for Mother's Day.

I love the look of strappy, open back, barely there workout tanks, but I need a bit more solid coverage. I feel like this Racerback Tank Top with Mesh Ventilation would give me the best of both worlds.

Probably Every Car on the Road Should Have an Emergency Escape Tool

via: Amazon

As a mom, I spend my nights awake in bed thinking through unlikely scenarios in which my family is in terrible danger. A frequent flier in my morbid insomnia is the my car crashed off a bridge scene. I promise myself I'll buy one of these Emergency Escape Tools in the morning if I can just go to sleep. Then I'm tired the next day and I don't remember to buy one.

One Cannot Talk About Middle of the Night Unlikely Emergencies Without Concluding That She Must Also Buy a Fire Escape Ladder

via: Amazon

I've played out the fire scenario so many times that should it ever happen, my family will be highly impressed with how quickly I come up with the idea of tying the bed sheets into knots and using them to climb out the window. But, we'd definitely be better off not needing that quick thinking ingenuity, so this Fire Escape Ladder is on my insomniac fears shopping list.

The Pint Sized JBL Flip 4 Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker Basically Promises Outdoor Fun

via: Amazon

The latest tiny speaker from JBL is waterproof, sounds terrific, and is small enough to fit in a cup holder, or tucked into my hammock chair with me. And it's mint green like the Converse high tops I had in 5th grade.

Considering the Tangled Mess of Jewelry I Usually Travel With, I Could Really Use a Travel Jewelry Case

via: Amazon

I never thought to get a travel jewelry case because it's not like I travel with the Crown Jewels or anything, but I realized on a recent trip, as I worked to untangle my necklaces, that not having tangled necklaces would be so much better!

This HyperChiller Iced Coffee Maker Cools Down Hot Coffee 130 Degrees in 60 Seconds

These Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls Stack Together For Easy Storage, Pour, Have Handles, Have Lids... They've Got it All

I've been transitioning away from plastics in my kitchen, which means adding in more glass and stainless steel bowls, containers, and measuring devices. These Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls work in all three categories and would make a great addition to my plastic-free kitchen.

At Only $10, I Kind of Want a Pair of These Classic Polarized Sunglasses in Every Color

via: Amazon

I have one pair of good (AKA expensive) sunglasses for when it matters, and several other pairs to suit my mood, the lighting, the occasion. These others are inexpensive so they can be tossed into my purse, replaced as trends change, or accidentally left behind. Being Able to Change From Sitting to Standing Sounds Dreamy, So I Really Want This Adjustable Standing Desk

via: Amazon

I spend a lot of time at my desk. Knowing that standing is healthier than sitting, and hoping to one day add in a desk treadmill, I once converted my desk to a standing desk with the help of decorative paint cans and a sturdy piece of wood. I stood for months, never got the treadmill, and then I was sick of standing. What I really want is a choice. This Adjustable Standing Desk looks perfect.

I Love Poppy Anything So When I Saw This Poppy Bedding Set I Fell For it Hard

In my dream home, I have the poppies, the guest room is the multi wave, and I might need more kids because I can't narrow the others down to just two. Oh, wait, I don't need more kids, they just need big, clean bedrooms with two beds each so I can have more duvet sets. Ahh, dream home...
